Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information AYUV collects, why, how it is stored, and the controls you have — including exporting and deleting your data.

Who operates AYUV

AYUV is operated by KriyaNco Services (operator of AYUV) ("KriyaNco", "we", "us"). AYUV is operated from India. You can reach us at contact@ayuvfit.com.

Information you provide

• Google account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile name from your Google account. AYUV uses Google Sign-In for authentication.
• Profile details. Information you add about yourself, such as name, date of birth, sex, height, blood group, country/region, and your unit preferences.
• Health records you enter. Data you choose to log, such as weight, blood glucose, HbA1c, blood pressure, body measurements, sleep, pain, medications, supplements, allergies, medical conditions, symptoms, injuries, surgeries, family history, meals and nutrition notes, physical activity, walking and steps, water intake, and lifestyle notes.

You decide what to enter. Most fields are optional, and you can use AYUV without providing them.

Features that are not active yet

Some areas of the app are labelled "Coming soon" and do not process your data today. AYUV does not connect to wearable or fitness devices, and does not offer an AI assistant that answers questions about your records. If either becomes available, this policy will be updated first.

Uploading a report, reading text from it, and the wellness score are active features today. Reading uploaded reports is described under Reading your uploaded reports below. The wellness score is calculated by AYUV from information already in your record; it is a wellness indicator, not a medical assessment or diagnosis.

Why we collect this information

• To provide your personal health record and show your own information back to you.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To let you export a copy of your data and to delete your account on request.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where your data is stored

AYUV uses Google Firebase and Google Cloud (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage) to run the service. Data is hosted in Google Cloud's Mumbai, India region.

Security

• Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
• Data at rest is encrypted using Google Cloud's managed encryption.
• Access to your records is restricted to your authenticated account.

AYUV relies on the transport and at-rest protections described above; it does not add a separate client-side encryption layer. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Exporting your data

You can export a machine-readable (JSON) copy of your records from within the app, under Profile → Data & privacy → Export my data. The export currently includes your records and a list of your uploaded files; it is not yet a complete downloadable archive of the files themselves.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and its data from within the app. This removes your authentication account, your stored profile and health records, and any files stored for your account. See the Delete your account page for the exact steps.

Retention

We retain your information until you delete your account or ask us to delete it. We do not apply a fixed retention period. When you delete your account, your account data is removed as described on the Delete your account page.

Service providers

We rely on Google (Firebase and Google Cloud) to host and operate AYUV, on Google Sign-In for authentication, and on Google Cloud Document AI to read text from the reports you upload. These providers process data on our behalf to run the service.

Reading your uploaded reports

When you upload a medical report, AYUV uses Google Cloud Document AI (optical character recognition) to read the text and values printed in it, so that the app can offer them to you for review. This means the content of an uploaded medical document is processed by that Google Cloud service on our behalf.

AYUV's Document AI processing is configured in Google Cloud's Mumbai, India region, the same region described above.

Anything read this way is treated as unverified until you confirm it. Extracted values are shown to you for review and only become part of your health record when you accept them, and you can correct or reject any of them.

Google provides this text-recognition technology; Google does not endorse AYUV, does not review or clinically validate what is extracted, and does not make medical recommendations. Text recognition is not guaranteed to be accurate, which is why you are asked to check extracted values against your original report.

Diagnostics and crash reports

If AYUV encounters an unexpected technical failure, we may use Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to receive diagnostic information that helps us find and fix the problem.

A crash report may include technical information such as the app version, device and operating-system information, the time of the failure, technical error and stack information, and an identifier Firebase uses to count how many installations were affected. That identifier relates to the app installation, not to you by name.

AYUV configures its crash reporting so that it does not intentionally attach your health records, uploaded report contents, laboratory values, report titles or filenames, your name, email address or phone number, or your AYUV account identifier. The information AYUV attaches is limited to technical detail such as which screen failed and what the error was. We do not attach a user identifier to crash reports.

Crash reporting is used in the published app. It is not used to track how you use AYUV, and AYUV does not record your screen or session.

Your rights

• Access and review the information you have entered, within the app.
• Export a copy of your data.
• Delete your account and data.

Children and eligibility

AYUV is for adults only. You must be 18 years or older to use AYUV. AYUV is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above.
